VOTING WEBSITE

About the Bluebonnet Program:

The Texas Bluebonnet Award is a project of the Texas Library Association created to encourage a love of voluntary reading. Since 1981, students across the state have selected a top title from 20 nominees to win the Bluebonnet Award each year.

Who can participate and what do I have to do?
  1. Anyone in 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade in the State of Texas
  2. Read at least 5 of the 20 books on the 2015/2016 bluebonnet reading list.
  3. That's it! Then during the last week of January you will get to vote online.
  4. Each person that votes will receive a Bluebonnet Reader Brag Tag!
  5. Texas students have been reading and voting on bluebonnet books since 1981!

Reading Tracking Sheet: Use this optional sheet to keep track as you read.
YouTube Playlist: Book trailer videos of all bluebonnet nominees.
Teachers/Parents: Check out these great ideas for each teaching with each book on the TLA Bluebonnet Wiki.
